- The cotton is then cleaned and packed into modules or bales. Basket pickers are known for their ability to minimize damage to the cotton fibers during the harvesting process, making them suitable for producing high-quality cotton lint.

- Modern basket picker machines often come equipped with features like GPS and yield monitoring to assist farmers in optimizing their harvest.

These two types of cotton harvesters are the most common and have been continually improved with advanced technology and automation. Modern cotton harvesters are capable of covering large areas quickly and efficiently, reducing the need for manual labor and improving the quality of harvested cotton.
