I have a latex and I need to know, if I can get any natural rubber out of it. I did FTIR, but I couldn't find any articles to indicate the exact peak number, which shows the availability of 1,4 cis polyisoprene. What can I do?

If you have DSC instrument, try to run a DSC after purifying and drying the sample. The glass transition temperature would give you a final confirmation about the presence of natural rubber.
Thank you, that is exactly what I needed. However, there are several peaks in my sample spectral pattern that do not match with the article pattern, I think it must be somehow related to different extraction methods and presence of other probable compounds. I hope this is true. I may repeat my experiments whit the same extraction method as the article and check it again. once more, Thank you.
You are welcome. As you told, the purity of the NR will rely on the processing/extraction techniques. If you have bought any commercially available sample, they may contain preservatives (TMTD/ZnO, ammonia) which may arise few unwanted peaks.
