Hi,
I need to sputter silver on silicon wafer to further use it in the acidic media. Do I require to put sme adhesive layer like Cr/Ti in case of Au? I need to ensure that the silver shouldn't leach while in acid, the thickness of the sputtered silver is 150 nm.

You can reduce surface of SI wafer and then you may not need interlayer (For Pt or Pd it works). Another way is to use Ti or Cr interlayer as you also said (also there). I think that if you use strong acid environment Ag also disappear.
