Basically you can't. Hexane is non-polar and hydrophobic. You need to build your structures in n-hexane bottom-up.

To improve the dispersion stability of hybrid nanostructure Fe3O4-MWCNTs, you could coat it with the hydrophobic surfactant oleic acid which may form a stable dispersion in n-hexane
Dear Dr. Hassan. This is what I am trying to check at the moment along with oleylamine, but I need to find out how this hydrophobic coating may affect my final polymeric TFN membrane. If its going to increase the hydrophobicity of the final membrane, I have to think in something else.... Many thanks for your recommendation.
