It is old bearing pyrite with arsenic ore. We believe thiorarsenats are formed in the the tailing pond. In biotreatment for nitrogen removal, the compound seems to be transformed to arsenate. I would be interested in your views on what we experience.

If I remember correctly(it is long back I was active in R&D) arsenic is the pathfinder element for gold prospecting and where gold exists ,arsenic will be present but due to its elemental characters separates from gold ore at one P-T stage and can form arsenic compounds. I may be wrong I have to brushup my memory
