Global cases are now nearly 16 million and died more than 640,000 from COVID-19. USA has more than 4.2 million cases, Brazil tops 2.3 million and India has more than 1.3 million cases. Russia has more than 800,000 COVID-19 cases and South Africa tops 400,000 cases. USA, Latin America and South Asia are still hot spots, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.

We can see face masks become mandatory almost everywhere. Health experts also focus on regular hand washing with soap and practice of healthy behavior. Social distancing has been advised in public places, so there is no scope for shaking hands just say hi, hello verbally from a distance. The world is trying for vaccines and more than 150 vaccines are now under trial but it will take time and equal access is a big question there.
