At present we are testing our first module: A prospective randomized controlled trial on high fidelity patient simulation versus video-assisted lecture for undergraduate medical students.

Our RCT methodology consists of a Pre-test MCQ (20 questions) at the beginning of the course and a Post-test MCQ (20 questions) at the end of the course to assess their gain of knowledge, if any. There are two OSCE assessments in 2nd and 4th weeks to test their psychomotor skills. We have added another OSCE assessment in 8th week to test their mid-term retention of skills and to compare the differences with the first two OSCE assessments.

We would request for your valuable opinion in this regard.
