In the various papers, i've seen if "days" is always become the period of the analysis WTC.. nearly all paper that i've read showed "period(days)" as the indicator of y-axis.. does anyone here know how to change the days period to hour period in WTC analysis using R language?

based on my understandings, I assume your questions is 'why in most papers that you have read daily periodicities were generally targeted'!
Well, it depends on the case study and the purpose of the conducted paper! If the main purpose is to investigate common daily periodicity and coherency between two given phenomena, then both time series are analyzed in daily scales. In this case, the X-axis is 'Time(day)' and the Y-axis is 'Period(day)'.
However, there are a lot of papers which analyze the periodicity and coherency as well as the phase differences between two time series in monthly/annual scales.

You'll need to install a 'biwavelet' package in R. This package uses codes that are based on the wavelet transforms in MATLAB (provided by Grinsted, Torrence and Compo). I suggest using MATLAB instead of R.
