Maybe I do not understand the nuances of your problem but it sounds like a simple integration problem that you can approximate numerically with Riemann sums if you do not have the analytical expression of the shape you want to "revolve"?

The best way, I have found to approximate the volume of an axisymetric body is using Pappus's Centroid Theorem.

The area and centroid can be calculated using ImageJ.
