I tried to download VMD version 1.9 as it wouldn't require things for my computer to process. I did the necessary steps to install it and it finally said "VMD installation complete, Enjoy!" However when i tried to open vmd it said this : /usr/local/bin/vmd: 477: exec: /usr/local/lib/vmd/vmd_LINUX: not found
I have been trying to find out how to fix it but so far i have nothing, please help me. I have been doing work with my teacher for molecular dynamics and i cant advance without VMD. this is my last resort.

source the path of your VMD to the bash through source ~/.bashrc and try again
