VLBI (Very Long Baseline Interferometry) assumes that one way light velocity is the same as that derived from two way measurements and other experiments based on Maxwell's equations. VLBI works both for thermal sources and pulsars. Should this be considered a validation of one way light speed measurement or a complex illusion?
It's an interesting problem. Back in the 70's when I was doing some post doc work at a Cal Tech observatory I was asked to look into synchronizing atomic clocks at various locations world wide. It was then that I found out that Einstein struggled with the problem while he was still working in Switzerland. With regard to VLBI let me refine the question a bit. If there was a difference between one way and two way speed of light how would that manifest its self during calibration of the system, or would it? It's a far from trivial problem. It's easy to fall into the trap of circular reasoning.

No, VLBI doesn't and no experiment would, Whatever the trajectory of light coming to the interferometer, in the two fibers(or mirors) guiding them inside they should be brought together to interfere which force them to go in different directions averaging the speed to a two way speed.
