Installing and using OpenFOAM can be a tedious task for people with not so much computer expertise. Using OpenFOAM "virtualized" within a window of your original operating system is a simple alternative. This can be done based on CAELinux, see caelinux.com.The only thing you need is a powerful and modern computer (at least about 4 GB RAM) and a (multi-core) processor that supports hardware virtualization (check this if you buy a new computer). I will provide a worked out example of using OpenFOAM this way in the Files section of this group within the next two weeks.
