in addition to Mohamed-Mourad's list of uses, drones can also be used for assisted lifting of stuff, for instance in a scenario where a human is trying to lift a heavy object the drone equipped with a robotic arm can assist to lift the other side of the object.

drones can also help in generating the blind-sided map of the environment where the usual point-cloud can't reach.

We can not forget that there are concerns regarding safety and privacy issues regarding the use of drones. However, considering the positive impacts of drones in multiple areas, for example, precision farming, defence including observing the blind side of any object, the use of drones becoming popular.

Your welcome. Yes of course there are concerns about safety and privacy. Every technological advancement always brings these challenges with them.

There is also quite some work going on in this specific area as well, regarding the safety and privacy prospects. Encrypting the drones (comm.) against possible hacking attacks and so on.
