Yes, you can be used polyamine Polyamines are organic polymers used as a coagulation of paint waste also used in water clarification, oil water separation, color removal, waste treatment and latex coagulation in rubber plants.
Chitosan also can be used as coagulants for paint waste water treatments Because of their biodegradability chitosan-based materials have been suggested as a more eco-friendly coagulant for paint waste water and wastewater treatment.
Thank u Mr.Baboo , Nowadays I'm trying to coagulant as a chitosan ,Firstly I prepared a solution with acetic acid , it coagulates the paint but what can I do to get a clearer water. Maybe I can add a little NaOH (aq) and cationic flocculant.
Polyamin is used in combination with Alum for good results. It not only reduce turbidity and color but also economize the dose of Alum.
Chitosan is also a good option as it is a wonderful adsorbent for heavy metals. To enhance its coagulation capacity, an inorganic coagulant may be tried as enhancer.
