Hi,

first of all, I would evaporate the extract in a rotavapor to dryness. Then, it will depend on where your active components are. You can fraction it with hexane, ethyl acetate and lastly methanol/water (keeping the methanol very low, like 1 or 2%) to get different fractions. If you know where the active components are, just use one of them. Then evaporate everything to dryness and resuspend in a formulation adequate for your purpose (e.g. oral, parental or IV).

You must evaporate metanol by rotary evaporator then you must freeze dried the extract finally you mist use a green solution like ethyl acetate or ethanol to dissolve the extract
