Now a days. artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are being used in different facets of life. These could be used almost in any field and Engineering Seismology is a hotbed for it.
There are several areas, such as Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) Systems and Development of Ground Motion Prediction Equations, where AI and ML are being used successfully.
I would be like to see that this topic is discussed in detail, so that more and more users from Earthquake Engineering and Seismological communities as well as from other scientific domains' communities can join, as this has potential of reducing Socioeconomic losses from future earthquakes including saving of precious lives.
