This message originally concerned the recovery of access to Beall's List of journals published by so-called "predatory publishers" [see 1st link below] .

As it took a while to find an archived copy (buried in a ResGate reply to an earlier Question concerning Beall’s List), I thought at first that it might be useful to make the link more easily accessible; hence the subterfuge of making it appear as a "question", which seemed the easiest way to satisfy the numerous online queries about its availability.

However, as detailed in my reply here today (approx. 6th Answer below) It might be unwise to republish it, at least until (and if ever) it becomes clear why the original List was taken down, and which entries in the List are justified. 

Nevertheless, at present the List can still be found by anyone checking via ResearchGate. 

Of course, in time the list will become out of date, but it still serves as a warning.
