Most living things make some sort of sense of their environment spontaneously, and humans have gone a level higher by creating philosophies of science and knowledge production.

Now that AI programs, e.g AlphaGo, seem also to be able to “learn to learn”, spontaneously (about comparatively simple systems), might their modes of learning (assuming we’re able to comprehend them) change our understanding of how to make sense of the world?
