One of the methods to measure the level of solid / liquid matter in a container is ultrasonic sensing.
I have several questions on this method:
1) What are the advantages and disadvantages of this method?
2) Since the speed of ultrasonic sensor is affected by the temeperature, how this effect is compensated in practice?
3) For which products (solid / liquid) is this method appropriate / inappropriate?
