Two question about green crab and shore crab?

I want to ask is any different between shore crab and green crab in common name ? Is it green crab common is Nortwest England river Tees ?

Both common names are used for the crab Carcinus maenas. It is found in marine habitats all round the UK and would be present in the Tees estuary
