Does anyone know how to calculate the turn off voltage for a Static Induction Transistor? To find the turn off at small Vds I can just calculate the depletion width on both sides until they meet. After that point the current is pinched off, but if Vds is raised to a high value the barrier is lowered, similar to DIBL, allowing current to flow. The gate is then further reverse biased extending the depletion region downwards pinching it off again. At these higher voltages is there a way to calculate the pinch off voltage, so far I have been unable to find anything. Thanks for the help
