I have been working on TOPSIS muticriteria decision model/tool.
It runs under the principle of minimum square distances (Euclidian distance).
I have been searching for a simple, free software, than can ease such calculation, because the tool application entails several operations of square sums and square roots that take pretty much time.
Does anyone know about a software with this feature?

for my work i prefer python tools, which are in general free and open source. "Scikit-Criteria is a collection of Multiple-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) methods integrated into scientific python stack. Is Open source and commercially usable. " and can found here:

Hi Ali, I did not know this solution. I will try it. Far now I am just following a guideline that involves lots of operations with low difficulties, as sum, square roots, euclidian distances calculation, normalisation, and for me some of these steps make sense regarding the idea of closeness to ideal positive solution and maximum step back from ideal negative solutions. I mean, the operations make sense according the overall idea of the method, but it gives lots of work.

I am now trying to get familiar with PROMETHEE, however, it looks like sharply complicated.
Topsis is now a package in R. please see : https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/topsis/topsis.pdf
You can use the SDI Tools Triptych software which works through the Microsoft Excel environment
