Hello. Before I begin, I warn I am not at all expert in this subject. I am just lately reading a lot on reverse logistics. The more I read, the more I find well qualified papers about the uncertainties and risks that an optimal forward flow can pose to the reverses flows. Considering that reverse logistics embeds environmental and social (therefore, ethical) aspects, I am wondering about theoretical and mainly practical discussions that can indicate a way out for the deadlock on size (optimal size) versus environmentally/socially feasible or acceptable size. Thank you.
