Hello. I wrote my first scientific paper about 17 years ago which was the result of my master thesis. It took me about several months to prepare the first draft for it was my first experience of scientific and English (as a second language) writing. It was very hard at first and the biggest barrier was a deficiency of self-confidence. I thought writing a paper was only the job of professors and scientists. To find the best vocabulary I read similar papers and tried to select similar vocabulary. However, I tried to have my own style of writing which evidently was not mature at that time. My mentor checked and corrected the manuscript once and I was lucky enough to receive the message of acceptance at the first submission. Although it was the first English paper of mine, I really enjoy it when I read it. Now, after 17 years I have kept the same pattern for writing but it takes me much less than before.
My first paper was for a conference that did not have a publication except for a conference proceeding that carried the abstract. So I emailed the Convener for withdrawing the paper and then go it published on SSRN at https://ssrn.com/abstract=3265654
