I was curious about thyroid hormones imbalances lead towards Graves' disease and Hashimoto's disease (Hyperthyroidism or Hypothyroidism) and noted down their symptoms were closely related with COVID_19 i-e Heat intolerance, Cardiac arrhythmia, stress, immune disorders, muscles pain and fatigue. I will really appreciate it if you provide me some useful information in points.
Irrefutable, both are interlinked. Sore throat along with fever may be caused by one of these two. Patient will run towards the hospital as we are frightened just because of the similarities of these symptoms.
I am aware that Viruses and bacteria are contributors to thyroiditis apart from autoimmune disorder as causes. Obviously the current COVID-19 infection may be responsible for thyroid hormone imbalance. Few center reports are already showing some interesting changes. The limitation at the moment is the fact that the disease is just newly discovered. There have not been enough time lag for large scale studies of thyroid hormonal imbalance as well as thyroid gland histological abnormalities in COVID-19 disease presentation. I guess as time goes on much of such findings will come to hand. Thank you for the interesting question.
It's too early to say. Try for a case control study if you want.
OK. I am working as an Endocrine fellow. As far as , I know, there has not been much work done regarding association of COVID-19 and Thyroididtis. But one thing, you should keep in mind is that , moderate to severe COVID-19 infection releases cytokines which affect your metabolism and alter your thyroid hormones, just as in sick euthyroid syndrome. But , if you want to really correlate it with direct involvement of thyroid issue by corona virus, you would go for FNAB to look for inflammation, or simply thyroglobulin levels. FNAB in such a case will be a research based work.

Not seen any evidence till now. May be we have to wait few more months for this answer.
Sana Arshad as you said (theoretical assumption) to yet the link between them is not present
and if the case study reveals thyroiditis this is logically and not new because many viruses like EBV, infl B, parvovirus, HCV ...etc

The pathophysiology of SAT associated with SARS-Cov-2 infection is thought to be similar to the association with other viral conditions, either direct infection or a postviral inflammatory reaction targeting the thyroid of genetically susceptible individuals. Muller et al. suggest that the affinity of SARS-Cov-2 to the thyroid gland is via the ACE2 receptors which are more prevalent in thyroid cells than lung cells. Because of this, clinicians should be aware of the possibility of subacute thyroiditis in patients experiencing SARS-Cov-2 infection. Another consideration is that because of the high prevalence of asymptomatic patients with SARS-Cov-2 infection, patients presenting with SAT should be tested for Sars-Cov-2.
