1. I was just reading about how interpolation of the polarization vector by placing filters with intermediate polarizations could help in increasing trasmittability. Could this be related to the concept of catalysis in chemistry where the catalysis seels to realize a blend / mesh of the interacting molecules (a kind of homotopy) in terms of both shape and frequency / spectra ?? (also possible connections to the idea of correcting impedance mismatches)
2. It would seem that bragg diffraction with incommensurate (irrational) frequencies seems to result in a kind of streamlining / separability (prism-like ??). Could one realize a kind of acoustic equivalent of this with possible connections to fluid mechanics etc ?? I.E, one has to realize the acoustic equivalent of a fourier transform with the input being mutually incommensurate waveforms. Could this streamlining be linked to drag reduction with possible connections to super fluidity etc ??
