A human employee possesses emotional intelligence, creativity, ethical reasoning, and the ability to understand context deeply.
AI excels at processing large amounts of data quickly, performing repetitive tasks consistently, and operating continuously without fatigue but at no cost can be in comparison of humans..
It depends on a sector and responsibility. AI can work nonstop 24/7, and yes, no family obligations, no work-life balance to achieve etc. From the other hand, AI can do a lot of routine work much quicker and with less subjectivity.
In my opinion, many different issues distinguish humans from artificial intelligence. Of course, the question of these differences will probably change in the future with the technological advances made in the development of artificial intelligence technology, now mainly artificial intelligence and in the future perhaps significantly different artificial intelligence, such as much more perfect compared to the current generative AI - general artificial intelligence and/or strong super artificial intelligence. In order to objectify this kind of consideration, it is necessary to concretize the question of the work done by artificial intelligence. Well, when we ask: what is the difference between the work done by humans and the work done by artificial intelligence, it is necessary to specify the kind of work that can be done by intelligent chatbots, intelligent agents, intelligent information systems, intelligent robots, humanoid androids equipped with generative artificial intelligence, which, with the help of the technology of multi-layered artificial neural networks, have been trained through a process of deep learning to perform a certain kind of work, tasks, commands, etc. previously done only by humans. Related to this issue are socio-economic dilemmas regarding changes in labor markets brought about by the application of generative artificial intelligence technologies in an increasing number of companies, enterprises, public and/or financial institutions. Recent pessimistic futurological visions appearing in the media included threats to people from losing their jobs if, for example, intelligent robots were to replace humans in certain jobs. In contrast, a slightly less pessimistic view of the issue is now dominant, which suggests that artificial intelligence will not take away people's jobs only people's jobs will be taken away by other people, who will be proficient in using various kinds of intelligent chatbots and other devices, robots, etc. equipped with specific artificial intelligence.
I described the key issues of opportunities and threats to the development of artificial intelligence technology in my article below:
