Hellow.
Honestly I am so proud of "my guys", i.e. the young generation of Physicists that engaged with my thesis. They grasped the main ideas so fast and actually took on the establishment grizzled veterans. What took me years to figure out, they got it in couple of months.
I think this generation, my guys, can challenge the entire establishment with what they can do now. The Establishment too stiff and rigid, and is composed mainly by dogmatic thinking and irrelevant figures who refuse to think ambitious . As one Physicist, who was considered an influential:
"one of the reasons I was able to achieve something, Is because I was not too ambitious".
Terrible message. I think that the young generation should be as ambitious, as daring, as creative as possible, and not be scared to take on the entire establishment if needed, even If they stand alone, by themselves.
Physics is not only about equations, it's also about influence and Leadership. Influencing the young generation to push forward at all costs, is a much greater contribution, In my view, than any individual achievement.
