I would love to know more about where you are looking at collecting samples, your methods and sampling techniques, and your project goals.
I recently obtained my MSc in geography and I would love to continue my research in organic carbon transport in different landscapes. I would love to have a chance for a discussion and to be involved in some way in this project.

I am not sure whether you are looking just at laboratory techniques or how flows of carbon organise landscapes. If the latter, you may be interested in the work of Australian former pastoralist Alan Lauder:

Alan's model of carbon stocks and flows has advantage over a good deal of science in that it seeks to overcome reductionism. He has explained stocks and flows at both the micro and macro level.
I am trying to get involved in the project or contribute samples. But I will definitely take a look at Alan Lauders work. Thank you :)
