Social media means that we are less assertive and open in interpersonal relations outside the network. The reason for this is that we are not afraid of verbal, non-verbal reaction, emotional signs of the person towards which we make a reservation, we have more time to think about the answer, we are more distanced, to the person we talk with, therefore the place to solve problems is for us rather a network than the face to face relationship.

The advantage of this, however, is that it can be used in very heavy mediations, eg with a rapist, a molestant, a murderer.
