I am doing a research on effect of social media use on marital satisfaction among married individuals. I would like to ask is there any theories related to social media and marriages.

I'm pretty sure i read a lot of those, but less specific to marital satisfaction. I think if you have enough time on your hand, try to look for these keywords, "facebook and marital stress", "socmed and spouse cheating", "socmed and marital life" and other specific topic (that are ir can be facets of marital satisfaction). Oh, also things like "socmed and passion", "socmed and commitment" etc given that intimacy, passion, commitment is most common love theory used as baseline in marital (or any intimate, really) satisfaction.

Sur l'impact des médias sur la satisfaction du couple, voire la thèse de BISCARRAT Laetitia (2012) sur les représentations télévisuelles du coupe hétérosexuel, et enfin LAZAR Judith (1991) sur l’influence des médias sur les masses.
