there is allegedly a Middle Persian translation of the medieval Indic "Tiriya-Veda", under the title "Nama-e-delgusha" or something like that, and near our times there its translations into English, and Russian as well, the latter being titled approx. "Kniga o zhenshchinakh" viz. the Book about married women, their unfaithfulness, cheating, and trickery"... (can't recall the exact title, for the translation is now inaccessible to us...) the introductory story narrates how "Once upon a time in the holy city of Benares, there lived a pious Brahman whose wife was skilled in deception, fraud and craftiness...
