In order to reach this goal a unique thermostat named TS-3000K for neutron scattering experiments was designed. It allows the heating of volumic (as cylinder of =81 mm, h=104 mm, t=1mm) metal samples (like W, Ta, Nb) until 2496 K. We have difficulties connected with the unavoidable background done by neutrons scattered on thermal shields and heather as seen in measured scattering neutron spectra.
