I read a description of POI yesterday, and it says “Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) is a heterogeneous condition affecting one in 100 women of reproductive age”. The data is quite different from my knowledge, but it is published in “Endocrine Reviews” (IF: 14.661) in 2016.  It also lacks data or citation support.

My understanding of POI is that 1% of women under the age of 40 years and 0.1% under the age of 30 years will develop POI.

So, where is the gap?
