There has been a lot of debates on RG Score of RG members. Now (total) Research Interest has been introduced (for RG members). In addition to this, a Research Interest/Publication Interest value appears for each paper as well. What is your opinion about the latter? Is it informative? Can you use that for your purposes and if yes, how?

Dear Balázs, I like the Research Interest/ Publication interest value. Why? I shows me how much impact a paper has that I might download. It is secondly an indication of how much interest there is in my specific publication. It also might be that the RI "pushes" fellow scientist to read a paper. I hope that you like my answer. RI score is an attempt to evaluate the scientific contribution of a given scholar to a certain field. RI is not based on objective criteria, but only an opinion of RG members. It might be a kind of guidance for RG members about an experience of a certain person in his field and the value of his answers. h-index is more objective, it's based on the number of citations of each publication.
I think that RI is more valuable than RG score. As I mentioned earlier that there is no correlation between RG and RI values.
Dear Yurii V Geletii , I appreciate your opinion, but this thread considers Publication Interest (Research Interest) of the papers, not the persons. Would you comment on that?

My opinion concerning "Publication Interest (Research Interest) of the papers" is the same as to that of persons. RI of a paper is based on o the interest of RG members. The number of citations of a certain paper is an objective criteria. The number of citations depends on the data bases and varies from one cite to another.
