We develop a PU wood varnish coat and see incompatibility, gel-like sedimentation after 24 hours and some small gel particles in dry film.
The formula has 65% acrylic polyol, 4% nitrocellulose.
Could you please help me to solve the problem.

First check solvents in your formulation. Avoid solvent like xylene. Addition of butyl acetate can help.

I try different solvent. and butyl acetate was the best. but after spray on wood the gel particle was seen.
the solvent i use: xylene, butyl acetate, ethyle acetate in varnish and for dilute the varnish for spray: MEK, butyl acetate and xylene.
DO you have any suggestion for solvent compound?
