The application of AI as a learning aid should not be restricted but encouraged.

Otherwise, we would also be curbing self-taught people, who seek more or total knowledge from sources other than the academy.

The evaluations on the absorption of knowledge by the student must be measured with essay-argumentative, face-to-face or remote evaluations.

If remote, apply face-to-face interviews together.

Because, even applying rules in the remote assessment, there is always the possibility of being circumvented.

But there will be a burden on the evaluator.

This overload can be reduced with the application of AI, in aiding the evaluator.

The use of AI especially from the academia section should be encouraged with a guidance on the extent of the technology usage. For example, ChatGPT is not a solution to your problem but a guide that require proper verification from the individual user. The reader may be smart enough to decipher what has been written by the presumed writer, but if the article was generated by the AI by a damn person about the topic, then the writer is duping none other than themselves.

Issues developers, or rather product owners who integrate such technologies with the rush to gain financially is the long-term effect it has on the other stakeholders like parents, students, teachers and even the institutions at large. AI usage is encouraged but with a caveat.
