Because market is not ruled out by scientists with an ecological attitude I foresee a dark future.
For example, Henan is one of the most populated provinces of China where more than 90 million people are living under the shroud of polluted air coming from the steel marker furnaces. Who cares?
In developed countries, illegal dumps that contaminates rivers and top soils are happening everyday, Who cares?
To be honest, the era of the change will be with the change of people on power to do the right things.

Florencia, you have drawn a very large picture frame with only a very faint sketch of a picture within it. I am often accused of oversimplifying; however, my critics seem to paint with such a broad brush that it is no longer possible to see what needs to be done next. As Jay Hanson said, "If you can't fix government, you can't fix anything." I wonder if the schools will ever again do anything useful. Those who are interested only in getting the most for their tiny group of people and impoverishing the rest of us have a firm grip on the schools. Absolutely! I have advocated steady state for years. The difference between Herman Daly, Brian Czech, Rob Dietz, Dan O'Neill (on the one hand) and me (on the other) is that I am straight-forward in advocating economic planning and an end to markets. I think I need to know a little more about your answers A, C, and D. The 100% reserve requirement is normally proposed by free market proponents like Ron Paul. It is not clear that eliminating investment (if that's what you mean by "interest") would not favor inequality. Are you proposing that only the maker of a good or performer of a service be permitted to sell or purvey the good or service? If not, what is to prevent those adept at buying and selling from eventually getting all the money? In a planned economy, it's easy to prevent gains in production from impoverishing workers; but, in a market economy, it might be hard to prevent employers from eliminating jobs that can be done better by a robot.
I suppose investors who wish only for control of an enterprise with no hope of increase or who are content to compete in a zero-sum game could be accommodated in an economy that permitted buying and selling; but, what would prevent arbitrary gradients in wealth from arising with associated jealousy and resentment that causes instability? By the way, "chrematistic" is a great word. Thanks.
We have reached a most important point in our reasoning. I have noted elsewhere that a richer man always imposes upon a poorer man or may be feared to be able to do so which is the same thing; therefore, what you refer to as freedom I refer to as criminal license.
