I am working on Venezuelan migrants, a qualitative study for my doctoral dissertation. I am seeking raw data to analyze and create a new scientific investigation.
Keep in mind secondary data acquisition lacks context, direct involvement, and selective reporting. There can be serious ethical concerns. I love archival data, but the research is disconnected. Good luck.
Perhaps you can crawl posts about Venezuelan immigrants on one or more websites (these may be news sites, social platforms, etc.) through Python. Thematic analysis of these post texts may be potentially helpful in building your research structure. However, as @David Coker answers, qualitative research content for secondary analysis can be potentially risky, and it is important to determine a balance point based on what you are researching.
