What is your opinion on the following subject:
How important/weight are the emissions of CO2, sulphur and other gases released from large commercial vessel, in the erosion accelerated of the continental coasts of maritime countries?

I could not really interpret what you are actually wanted to ask? What is the logic of this question?
You are trying to connect two different topics with a very small information. What erosion, not information is provided?
It is obvious that greenhouse gases contribute to global warming, however, you are connecting just commercial vessel > emission > global warming (several facts included) > melting of ice/glaciers > rise in sea level > and erosion.
Let's detail the idea.
What do we want to know, besides the winds, the strength of the tides and natural catastrophes such as earthquakes, what is the contribution of the exhaust gases from ships (CO2, sulfur and others) when precipitated on the ocean coasts in solid form, or in acid rain? Doesn't this have any weight in these areas or, on the contrary, does it accelerate the degradation of these places? Is the question understandable now?
Dear friend. Most often, the effects of CO2 emissions are considered globally. Similarly to you, I believe that they should be balanced locally for cities, regions, e.g. emissions from fuel combustion of ships in their specific locations and flow routes. Best regards, Józef
Of course these emissions are considered, which led the IMO to impose limitations on these emissions from January 2020. The question is, what is the real effect of these pollutants (CO2, sulphur, and unburned hydrocarbon particles) when deposited in the rocks and other materials of the continental coasts, and their effects after reaction with NaCl (sodium chloride - compound resulting from the evaporation of sea water).
