I am a postdoc teaching a graduate course on Monte Carlo Methods applied to Radiative Heat Transfer.  I already got the course prepared,  based mostly on applications. However,  I was wondering what other good books might be out there on general Monte Carlo theory,  just to give them a much more solid foundation, after all,  MC is leaking through a lot of areas in engineering so they might need it later anyway.  I have several books on Monte Carlo Methods general theory but they don't seem to be very pedagogical for engineering students. any suggestions?

thanks in advance,

Patricio
