Many people in the world live without electricity; however, it would be challenging for the entire world to function without electricity. We depend on it for transportation, safety, healthcare, production & preservation of food, communication, teaching, learning and many other aspects of life. Many around the world would not have access to information needed to be successful in their careers without electricity. How would we print books? How would we learn about science? How could we hear music without being there? How could we make a phone call? How could we have images of our grandchildren? In theory, we could replace electricity with some quantum particle energy instead of electrons, but that would simply substitute processes. Without electricity, this question could not have been asked easily to a global audience and received responses so easily.
