Decades ago, researchers had to conduct their research using more manual methods and efforts. They still produced good research.

Today, technology makes research easier, wider and faster through online methods of data collection and analysis. We can even break geographical research borders through technology. In addition we have referencing softwares and we can type out our research on various word processing softwares. There are many more advantages.

However, some may argue that we have become over-reliant on technology usage in research. Can this compromise our research precision and quality thereof. Are there any negative implications?
