I have zinc dust with impurities of Iron in it. Can somebody suggest efficient techniques for removal of Iron from zinc dust; except magnetic separation.
First you find the two different solvent of composite material (in composite material any one can be disperse solvent) then you separate (Filter the solution)
I have zinc dust fine powder of 200 mesh. I do not want to make it wet as it would increase the Downstream processing. I would like to know if there is some technique which can enable Separation of Ferrous material while it remains Dry.
Currently i am using Magnetic Separation Technology. The rate is 10 TPD. But the requirement has Increased now. And if I further increase the machine magnet speed then centrifugation occurs and separation efficiency is affected. Hence i am looking for alternates.
I am intrigued about the use of Acetone as solvent. Can you please clarify the process.
