What is the difference between the teaching and the training?
Teaching, as a form of education, is more academic and knowledge based while training is more practical and skills based or job focused.
In teaching you have to make sure intended education learning outcomes are achieved by students [usually through a semester or more] whereby theoretical and applied principles are explained and referring students to secondary resources using blended education or other. Training on the other hand relies heavily on experiential exposition [short term period of time] of either theories or real life situations whereby the trainee has pre-fixed skills or competencies that must be learnt. In both situations the audience are different [classroom versus training venue] in case the question refers to students versus workers/employees.

Training has to do with instructional expirences in which an individual acquire specific skills gear towards job competences while teaching is fascilitating learning, more of knowledge base.

It's very good to see your excellent answers. It seems that I have nothing to add. I may say in general; teaching goes for education while training goes for technology.

I think that Teaching and Training are different.
The aim of teaching is to provide knowledge and information whereas Trainning helps to developp skills and abilities for a job. Training could be very useful and complementary in education but only with good supervising.
The first one, I mean teaching emphasizes more on academic activities or functions while training focuses on hands on activities.

I consider "teaching" as the skill which enables someone to explain knowledge /problems /concepts to a learner so that they are able to understand and apply that knowledge to another application. Training is about empowering someone, or something (like an animal) to do something with little or no individual thought or ability to synthesize information in carrying out that task.

It is all knowledge acquisition. Some elitists like to make subtle distinctions to elevate academia from the slime of mundane skills needed for work. Surgeons are trained. No one would argue that they are not educated as well.
Training is used to prepare an individual to perform flawlessly several physical, or intellectual algorithms important in fixed duties services, for instance, a nurse, a hair cut stylist, a photographer, a cook, a driver, a lab technician, an optometrist, etc.
Teaching is used in professions, where expectations of complex circumstances requiring masterful application of logic, skills to analyze fuzzy situations, and synthesize multiple approaches, outcomes, and contradicting notions are quite high. For instance, medical doctors, scientists, engineers, specialists in economy, businesses, marketing, arts, management, finances, military officers, jurists, etc.
Teaching is mostly based on theories, whilst training involves the application of such theories in real life situation. For example a teacher can use learning theories and apply them to students individual learning styles. That is why some colleges have now changed their teaching courses to education and training courses. Training has got to do with subject-specific specialism
