I am looking at different systems that are used in providing feedback to students as a research topic. What are those systems that are used in providing feedback to students at your Universities?
Dear Nicholette Mutenda, As part of the feedback systems, I use the university's integrated IT system to record student achievements, enter grades, record attendance, analyze written diploma theses, exchange information, etc., and also conduct correspondence between lecturers and students. Through this system, I give students consultations, answer questions, etc. Best wishes,
Hi! Don’t miss the possible effects of using more of formative assessment, and less of summative assessment. The ICT ”learning analytics” can also provide information to students as feedback on their own learning, not only be a control function for a teacher.
In my institution, I have used the feedback mechanism provided by the e-Learning platform adopted for the distance teaching. So, there is not a specifically software used for supporting the feedback functionality used at my university.
Currently we use e campus software for feedback but we have also used anonymised responses to standard questionnaire with some open ended questions as well
Dariusz Prokopowicz Do you mean Integrated Tertiary Software can also be used to give feedback to students like marked assignment feedback e.t.c. Like us, we are using Moodle as a system whereby students submit their assignments or write a test after writing a lecturer log in and mark those assignments or tests, and after they have been marked the feedback goes to the student's e-mail. We also have ITS but we use it to save students data like biographical information, also marks. We don't use it to give feedback to students but only that students can view their saved marks.
