Actually project management is the combination of the following task- i.e. initiating, planning, executing, controlling a project. I'm currently managing a continuous improvement project, and a KPI of my project are the monetary savings related to corrective actions. I'm sure that if you're able to identify those savings in your project, supported by a proper timing and action owners, the success will be more than ensured.

you can make a pareto analysis to know which would be best actions, sorted by the economic impact. I would always try to focus on the actions with the biggest savings of course.
