Programmes such as school feeding, cash transfer and health care provide some 

form of income security andaccess to better nutrition, health care, education and

decent employment to people living in challenging and often hazardous environments.

The sustainable use and management of terrestrial ecosystems, forests, mountains,

 land and soils.

Agriculture has a major role to play in responding to climate change. While

temperature rises pose areal threat to global food production, investments

in all sectors of agriculture can simultaneously supportclimate change adaptation

and mitigation while improving rural people’s livelihoods.

To effectively achieve the sustainable development goals , all the SDG projects must have feedback mechanisms. This will enable the target class have full participation in the projects . The target communities must be consulted on their immediate needs in line with the SDGs before deployment of any project . This I think will go a long way in achieving the goals .

The phenomenon of garbage has to be addressed and solved. Our ancestors did not produce the mountains of garbage we have now and we are unable to deal with.

I am recycling and composting most of my garbage. Why not everyone??

Our children are eating fish products with plastics in them (used to be plastics bags, milk bottles, etc) and later generations will be eating lots of that.

The principles of sustainable development can be put into practice when the current socio-economic development model based on consumerism will change.

The current model does not take into account two fundamental issues: natural resources are exhaustible and the environmental capacity to receive waste is limited.

Whether we are talking about the renewable ones (if we exploit them at a higher pace than the one in which they regenerate) or the non-renewable ones they are exhaustible if the sources that produce them (natural ecosystems).

Orienting towards economic models that use the renewable resources very efficiently could be one way of achieving the goals of sustainable development.

Thus, resources are mostly transformed into finished products, the amount of waste is reduced,adding thereto efficiency and long life products.

Also, there is a need for performing technologies that use low energy in technological processes and this can be done through research and innovation.So money goes to innovation, nanotechnologists, artificial intelligence, areas to find the technical solutions that entrepreneurs and businessmen to create economic models based on efficiency rather than consumption.

Now, people will only profit by convincing increasingly more people to buy the product  even if he / she does not necessarily need that product, this product ending up by quickly getting waste.

In its development, interrelationship, and interdependence with the environment, Ecotourism is a planned tourism process that is closely related to sustainable development addressing issues like community empowerment, ensuring human welfare and conservation of the environment without compromising or jeopardizing the ability of future generations to satisfy their needs. Globalization has allowed many political barriers to disappear. Due to the advances in transportation and information technology, even the most remote places on Earth are getting within reach of the traveler thus resulting tourism as the world's largest industry; of which, nature-oriented tourism is the fastest-growing segment. In fact, ecotourism is a type of nature tourism, where, the respect for nature and the protection and conservation of the environment are top considerations along with enjoying activities. The travel motivations of tourists may be a range of possibilities, from a simple photo, to direct contact with nature, communities, culture, and education. This higher appreciation of the natural experiences has determined the setup of a new travel ethics giving emphasis on conservation, education, traveler’s responsibility, and active participation of the community. Increase of tourism in sensitive natural areas may become a threat to the integrity of ecosystems and local cultures, if not carried out in accordance with proper planning and management. The growing number of visitors to areas with sensitive ecosystems, from the ecological point of view, can cause considerable environmental degradation. Likewise, the massive influx of visitors can hurt in many ways native cultures. However, the same growth can generate significant opportunities for conservation, benefit to local communities and yield much-needed revenue for the protection of national parks and other natural areas. Similarly, ecotourism can offer a viable alternative of economic development to local communities that have few options for income generation. At this juncture, ecotourism in the era of globalization should be promoted and operated in such a manner that it could develop a more responsible education and activism among the visitors, turning them into more enthusiastic and effective conservation agents.
