I am interested to know about this technique and its practical application in industries, whether this technique is beneficial for cedrus deodara essential oil extraction or not? How much yield can be improved by this method as compared to traditional steam distillation method? Can this process be utilized for large scale production? Kindly share some valuable knowledge and research articles related to it.

The advantage of supercitic CO2 extraction is non-polluting, in fact the CO2 solvent is liquified at supercritical pressure (a phase neither liquid nor gaseous). There is an apparatus which adapts to the research laboratory. It can be adapted to large industrial scale.
