The synthesis of Ba0.4Pb0.6Fe12-xCoxO19 hexaferrites through the citrate gel auto-combustion method at 950 °C for 4 hours resulted in the formation of M-phase, PbM, and hematite phases. Magnetic analysis revealed that cobalt substitution impacted saturation magnetization and coercivity, while dielectric studies indicated a significant influence on the ac conductivity and dielectric constant. The observed low loss tangent across all compositions suggests promising potential for lossless applications of these hexaferrites.
